Youth Baseball Program (Ages 5-6) 

Welcome to our Youth Baseball Program for kids aged 5 to 6! This fun and engaging program is designed to teach the fundamentals of baseball in a supportive and exciting environment. Whether it’s your child’s first time on the field or they’re already swinging for the fences, this program is all about skill-building, teamwork, and having a great time. 

Program Overview 

• Ages: 5 - 6 years old (based on current calendar year) 
• Team Size: 15-18 players 
• Location: Kiwanis Field 
• Schedule: 
• Sessions run twice a week 
• Held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays from 5:00 - 6:00 PM 
• Each team will play on two of the three days 
• Season Dates: June 30 - August 22 

Note: Final schedule may vary based on field availability and registration numbers. 

Required Equipment: 

• Baseball Glove 
• Batting Helmet 
• Bat (if you have one, CBS does have some equipment for use at practises) 
• Team Hat (provided) 
• Team Jersey (provided) 

Recommended: 

• Athletic Support (jock or jill) 
• Long Pants 

Optional: 

• Baseball Pants 
• Cleats 

Note: Hats and jerseys must be worn to all practices and games. All batters must wear helmets when at bat.
